"so are you guys saying that it handles better without installing the rear sways, and the rear 25mm is for drag racing? Please elaborate."

I'm pretty sure there are guys here who could do a better job of explaining, but since nobodies done it in 3 days, I'll give it a shot.

The purpose of the rear antiroll bar is not to reduce roll, that's the job of the springs and the front bar. The purpose of the rear bar is to tune the handling by taking some of the total cornering load and sending it to the rear tires. So a rear bar can easily be too big and just overload the rear tires.

It all depends on what springs you have. If you have stock V8 springs or GM 1LE springs, the 25 bar is way too big. Your car will be both less safe (harder to control in an emergency maneuver) and slower (if the rear tires are overloaded, they can't accelerate the car off a corner) with it on.

I put my new ones on the way the stock ones came off. Front, slits to the front and rear, slits to the rear. I don't know whay Haynes would say different.

Haynes is wrong.

Think of it as the arms of the swaybar pull the bar - you don't want them pulling the bar toward the slit in the bushing.

This is for my referance: correct me if I'm wrong guys.

ST bars: front, 35mm hollow? rear, 25mm solid?

1LE bars: front, 32mm hollow. rear, 21mm solid.

BMR rear bar, 21mm solid.

I have the BMR front 32mm SOLID and stock 19mm rear. My other suspension mods are in the sig. I think I have too much front bar because I have way too much oversteer. Im going to put my stock bar back on front to try to make the car more neutral. Will this work?

I got mine's today, thanks sam, now I can get to work. It looks like it won't rain this weekend too. =)

I'm gonna do the shocks too this week. Someone told me to get an alignment after a do suspension work. I already know the alignment specs I want. Will like a pepboys alignment be good enough or should I look for a good performance shop to do it (probably cost more). I just don't trust some mechanics to do a good job.
