ST sway bar question

So I just got th 35mm sway bar today $129 what a deal.man is it huge,I know only 3mm more than the BMR I have but it just seems sooo big, damn heavy too. No biggy the new K-member will take off alot of weight in front to offset it and then some.

My question is:As I'm pondering the new get,I'm reading the instructions and warnings basic stuff. But one thing has got me puzzled. Labeled under one of the Warnings I reads Do not drive the car untill both the front and rear sway bars are installed because they are a Tuned set.
I did not get the set only front 35mm,I concidered it,but from things I've read and advise didnt want to run a 25mm rear bar.

So do I now have to get it and use a 25mm rear to maintain the integrity of the bar or what?

Maybe I should run my 21mm BMR with it instead of my 19mm stock w/ new prothane bushed like I was going to try first

One more Q:I have a new set of prothane front endlinks extra, but the ST bar came with hyperthane endlinks.
I should probably use the hyperthane since that what came with it? Or will the prothane be better than those? I dont know about hyperthane new to me.

You will be OK running the bar without the matching rear bar. That is there way of getting clueless people to buy the rear bar too.

For my setup, on really slippery autox lots I use the 19mm rear bar with the 35. For larger course events with more grip (usually concrete) I use the 21mm. Luckily I FINALLY finished an adjustable rear bar. A 21mm bar that I can set one setting stiffer and 3 settings softer.

Interesting, did you get the Unbalanced Engineering adj. anti-sway kit? this requires some cutting of the sway bar right?to put the adjustable brackets on?

Anyway thanks for reply lons94

Well that was a well spent $129 these Suspensiion Techniques 35mm front bars are excellent.
Very good improvement to the front end, lots less roll,a lot more responsive it'll do just fine. There's no comparison,it is twice(feels) the BMR 32mm bar is.

But I dont like it w/ my stock 19mm,back end feels a little light.I might wait till I get the new bushings and install them on the 19mm and try. But at this point I'm ready to try the 21mm in the rear.

Those who dont have 35mm front I suggest it worth a try

I bought the ST 35/25 set used for $175 a couple years ago. I love it.

Until I added a heim-jointed adjusted PHB, I admit it was a bit rear-end snappy around sharp corners... but the PHB seems to have eliminated that.

Now it doesn't roll at all, AND turns in and exits smoothly!

My set came with PST graphite-impregnated poly bushings/endlinks. These basically removes any squeaking. They're red. If that's what yours came with, I'd use em. They're nice!
