Sportline Kit on fbody?

Is an Eibach Sportline kit too low for a trans am? I've found special control arms from BMR made for the front to compensate for such an extreme drop and enable you to set the camber where it should be, but they're 700$ for the pair. Any other alternatives? Other than relocating brackets and shocks to go with the springs, what else?

2" drop is VERY low, IMO my own car is too low and its supposedly a 1.7" drop. If you really want a performance ride, slamming the car is over-rated, especially for the low speed driving most of us see.

Race tires, 2" drop, and 1000 pound springs with big race slicks may be a different story, but for a street car I think slamming the car is RICE, nothing but looks. My springs are nearly twice as stiff as the Sportline, but still, lowering it to such an extent doesn't neccessarily mean it will be a better handler. Its low enough that it is also PITA to deal with on the street, and I wouldn't want such a low rated spring with that much of a lowering job either, unless it was for looks, and my opinion is that its nothing but looks.

You will most definately need an alignment after that, I almost wasn't able to see between the tire and fender when I dropped the car before getting my own alignment.
