Re: Some Good Tires??

I use BFG G-Force KDW on my SHO. I ran them at Lime rock with no problems (Road Racing). I just got the car back together, so I have not tried them at an autocross, but probably in the spring.

BTW, I was all over (and eventually passed) a 911 Carerra at Lime Rock and I credit much of it to the tires.

Re: Some Good Tires??

If you're looking for street use only, and have $400 to spare, Consumer Reports gave top grade to a tire company called Falken. They beat Goodyear and a bunch of other manufacturers out their for price, wear and tear and handling. They're tough to get now because the company is quickly getting a great reputation and are seeling out faster thatn they can be made. I have them on my '93 Camaro and they hug the road pretty good.
