Solo2 Racing School May 4th
I am attending this Solo2 racing school this sunday in Michigan at Saginaw Valley State Univ. Solo2 School
And anyways, I was just curious what I should expect and do I need a helmet for this event or anything else? Thanks. This is my first AutoX event. And if anyone from Michigan wants to come go to the site for details.

Cool, that should be a blast!
I have no knowledge of their setup, but you'll most definitely need a helmet. Whether they have them there to rent, I don't know, but you definitely want one. Other than that, you might try to find some close-fitting shoes (wrestling shoes work well if you don't want to buy expensive driving shoes), and check your tires (are you driving your car, or theirs?) to make sure they're in good shape, inflated a few lbs over normal, and get any junk out of the car.
Any way you do it, the main focus is on *you*, not the car
