Question Single "click" in front whenever I get body roll?

Any time I get any sort of body roll I can hear a single "click" from the front of the car.
Doesn't matter if I'm fast or slow, sharp corner or sweeping turn. As soon as the body reaches a point I hear the click....almost makes me think of a brake heat shied hitting.
It may be my imagination, but when I turn left it sounds like it's from the right, and when I turn right it sounds like it's from the left.

Would this possibly have something to do with my strut tower brace? I plan on removing it this afternoon and seeing if the sound goes away.

Any suggestions??

Have you checked the sway bar end links? They could be loose or bad, just a thought.

It only has 15,500 miles on it, but I checked the links anyway and they seem to be fine.
I removed the tower brace and the sound is still there. :blah:

Anything else?

The thing is still under factory warranty, so I'm not to concerned. But I would kind of like to point them in the right direction when I take it in on Tuesday though.

Did it start after any mods? Does it happen immediately or does it take a second? Have you done anything to the brakes?

It's been like that since I've owned the car (less than a week).

As soon as I get any noticeable body roll, it happens. No real delay.

The brakes appear to be stock.

How many miles are on the car? Try braking and then turning and see if you hear it then. For some reason I'm leaning toward brakes or wheel bearings. Of course, without hearing or experiencing it, it's tough to diagnose. I'm thinking of all the suspension pieces and can't picture anything that would cause a click. And you say it's a single click. Nothing feels weird??

Check your tie rods and ball joints, but they usually make a *pop*

Got the car back from the dealer. They thought it was the steering rack, so they replaced it. Still "clicked".

They took it on a test drive with some audio type equipment at different locations around the front of the car. When they took a turn, the amplified sound souned like a roll and then a thunk. They had to take apart a bunch of the front end, and they ended up finding a non Camaro lug nut in the channel at the lower radiator support. Pretty damn bizarre huh?

Oh well, I got a free front end rebuild and alignment out of it I guess .
