It's generally used with lowered cars to correct the LCA geometry. I'm at stock ride height but found that my car hooks better with the LCAs pointing down more. Between that and a Spohn TA, you can really feel the car lift as you lay on the throttle rather than sit down. The car really jumps out of the hole much better, it allows you to hit the tires harder and therefore lower the 60' times. In a auto-x or road racing event, moving the LCAs down in the bracket would cause the car to push, you definitely don't want to run an open track event with it setup like that. My assumption (being that I haven't ever run an open track event) is that the car would not be very well balanced "on throttle" while turning. As always, the suspension works as a system, but LCAs with that much angle would work against the system from what I know.
i am going to try out the other setting on them. i havn't touched it since i put them in. thanks for the info.... o ya is thier any way i could damage anything by changing the angle they are at
