This being my last year of college, I decided to take some more fun classes. So I signed up for welding. Anyways, I need ideas for a final project. I was hoping to do something car related. The school pays for the materials, if it's within reasonable cost. =)

I was wondering if there was anything I could make for the car that is complicated enough to present as a final project, but simple enough so the school is willing to pay for the materials. The only thing I can think of is a fabbing up an exhaust, but the shop doesn't have a pipe bender, so I'd have to buy prebent pipes and do alot of cutting and welding.

Any suggestions are welcomed. Most people seem bent on making a barbecue.

I made a camera mount for my SS acouple moths back out of 1" boxed steel. Works great. Very stable.
