LS1 Spindles On a LT1

I have a 97 Camaro SS with level 2 suspension and I'm planning to switch to LS1 brakes. I've found a ls1 in a junkyard. I want to buy its complete spindles with its calipers and rotors on instead of cutting my lt1 spindles.

What I wonder is if ls1 spindles fit in lt1 spindle's space.

Also any suggestion about what should be plundered from a LS1's front end will be appreciated.

Thanks

I just did this exact same swap Monday to my'95 TA. Well, my mechanic did it. I obtained the LS1 spindles and had the LS1 brakes. Went together very easy. Just remove the spindles and replace w/LS1 setup. When getting the spindles, insure you're getting it complete w/hubs. That way you'll have an extra two for spares. The spindles should cost around $120. Whole setup w/brakes complete to include rotors, calipers and pads around $175.
