LS1 ABS and LT1 ABS

THe LS1 Bosch ABS system has electronic brake force distribution, which, if you go to a powerful near race or race front pad, causes the system to send more braking force to the rear, and if you have a good pad back there, you get annoying and dangerous rear axle hop as the braking force goes up and the ABS fights to stop lock-up.

Soooo... my question is, could you replace the LS1's Bosch unit with an LT1's Delco unit, which does not have EBFD and apparently does not have this problem? Any thoughts or comments? Problems to overcome?

Bill,

Did you experience axle hop at Road Atlanta at the last track day? Or are you just asking for future reference? There are other less drastic means of minimizing or eliminating axle hop than converting to the old ABS system. If you have ASR then you probably don't want to attempt such a swap. If you want to call, I have been studying the issue and have figured out the main cause of this problem.
