lowering with stock shocks

Can the stock shocks handle lowering the front 1.5 in. in front and 2 in. in the rear. 99 camaro z28

As far as working, Yes it will work, but you may not like the ride quality afterwards.

A friend lowered his car with stock shocks and the ride was very bouncy or soft feeling.

No way, I'm 1.7" lowered and I wouldn't be without my Konis, they are heavy springs as well as you will find that you are QUITE low at 1.5" and beyond.

This isn't a Mustang, the cars are already fairly low stock.

Did this with SLP take-off's ( couldn't resist the $ ) and ST 1.2 / 1.7 lowering springs....... lets just say I am ordering Bilsteins as soon as they are available.
