Koni and Pro-Kit installed....Have ????

Well I got the Single Adjustable Koni's and the Eibach Pro-Kit installed and the car handles great. However, driving home on a fairly hard left hand turn I heard a pop in the rear. I tried to duplicate it at the same turn about three times with no popping heard. The car is still handling great. I measured the rear and I am able to fit two finger width between the tire and the fender on one side, but on the otherside I am only able to fit about 1.5 finger width. The front on the same side is sitting a little lower as well than the other side.

Is this normal until the springs have time to settle? Any thoughts why the right side is sitting a little lower?

Thanks

My springs are the same way. Just did them Sunday. I'm giving them another day to set in before I start

Did you install a panhard rod? I installed one to recenter my rearend after the drop.

My car sits level and with a killer rake, and I have a Pro-kit and SA's. I did install an adjustable PHB to center the axle.

As for the noise, check the exhaust where it goes by the panhard brace. Mine hits the stamped brace.

I have not installed the adjustable PHR yet. I looked at the rear end and it does not seem to be off center comparing each side. Do I need to install the PHR?

Almost every Fbody seems to sit higher on the drivers side, I even found spring clamps on my stockers when I pulled them off. I had both rubber cushions over the springs, so it wasn't like one was missing.

I put LS1 Eibach Pro-kit springs on my LT1 Camaro. It sits at 26.0" every corner. Much more even than it did with factory springs.

Did you set the spring in the back properly? It has to fit in that seat on the top of the spring. The noise you heard may have been the spring seating in there. Check all of your springs. They are only supposed to go in one way. Hope this helps,

Brian

My car sits higher on driver's side than passenger side both with stock springs and Prokits . I think it was designed that way to compensate for what happens when I'm sitting in it . Certainly it would be appropriate for proper corner weighting ( which I have not done)
