Question Good torque arm

I'm looking into getting an aftermarket torque arm, i really like the way the spohn one looks. Anybody have some advise or suggestions on good torque arms. The car is primarily a daily driver with frequent trips into the canyons.

Thanks Mike

If you want a good design that isn't going to bind, and provides better handling, then I can't say anything bad about the LG Torque Arm. Its still a full length design just as GM designed it, but looses the crappy rubber bushing at the tranny and its made stronger....and no heavier than stock.

As for the shortend length arms such as the Spohn pieces.....well thats a whole different ball game that I haven't dealt with myself....there have been a few disscussions about them..might do a search.

I've run several brands of suspension components ... Eibach, BMR, Hotchkis, Spohn ...

The G2 product line is the best I've found for function.

They also sell a C5 brake upgrade for LS1 equipped F-Bodies. The only difference between the LT1 and LS1 F-Bodies is the spindle. Probably for under $1000 you could have a full package ...

as far as stock geometry goes i would prolly go with the g2 arm.
but i've heard that there are big gains by relocating the torque arm frorm the tranny mount positon and going to the chasis somewhere. I figure if i'm gona to it might as well go all the way.

Anybody here have any after market torque arms that don't mount to the tranny that they would like to give me some feedback on?

Any advise appreciatted
Thanks Mike

Not sure what kind of gains you are looking for here, but I noticed a significant SOTP improvement when I installed my G2 T/A. The car launches MUCH harder. Unfortunately, I have no track times to substantiate the improvement due to my clutch not liking me anymore.
