Good cheap rear shocks?

I was going to order some take-off SLP rear shocks since mine are basically shot, but once I got to the site, they wanted $25 in shipping to ship a $25 set of shocks! These are going to be temporary until I can afford to go with the Koni/Bilstein combo from Strano, I just want to keep by rear end from wanting to bottom out and be as rough over small bumps. What type of cheap shocks do you guys recommend that I go with, now that I am not going the SLP route? I dont want to get something softer than at least what the factory deCarbons are.

cheapest you will find is 50 for a set of shocks shipped,
and though the rears arent too much of a pain to change, it is still like an hour or so job (or at least it was me) why not wait to get some bilsteins from sam strano or something? (I think they cost me around 320 or so, 350 shipped)

Because my shocks are so bad right now that my driveshaft even has a little wear ring on it where it keeps bottoming and contacting the bracket for the e-brake lines about a foot from the back of the shaft. Not to mention the fact that my rear end of my car is rough as hell right now. Like I said this is just a temp fix til I can afford to get the full suspension combo from Strano.

Would some gas shocks from Napa be as good as the factory deCarbons?

I'm only replacing the rear, that is why I'm going with the cheap-o shocks for now. I'm not going to break down the front shock work until I can afford to do the full spring/shock package at once. Yeah, they are about $15 a piece.

You can get a set of 2 KYB GR-2's for $40 at Advance Auto Parts (overnite part I think).
Or simply get the cheapo Gas-Matics for $13 each (26 total) in stock...

i think SLP has the rear sway bar pretty cheap too. it might be worth getting the shocks and sway bar now and combining the shipping.

I guess I'll go with the KYB G2's for now. I would go ahead and get the 21mm rear sway bar also, but it is $90, then plus at least $50, would be at least $140, and if I was going that route, I would go ahead and get 3rd gen Bilsteins for a little xtra. Still gotta buy damn xmas gifts today
