ESP AutoXers...question for ya

I was curious....eventually i will want to pick up an Ultra Z hood for my car and a set of racing seats.....

Will either of these kick me out of Street Prepared class?

Thanks

The hood will for sure. Driver's seat is open as long as it's upholstered. I think the same is true for the passenger, but can't remember for sure.

Both front seats are open with in the limits that 94bird stated.

If you just want to run on the local level, speak to your fellow competitors, a lot of rule violations slide if your fellow competitors don't have a problem with it. Just about every car in our local ESP class has one illegal part or another.

But the Ultra Z hood would definitely bump me up into Mod class? That sucks I could just keep my stock hood and switch back to it for races But man that would be a pain in the ***....

Just get an SS hood. It falls under the update/backdate rules. That would be legal, and you can have the ram-air hood.

Ram Air is fake and a myth. Just an FYI.

I want the Ultra Z hood because I like how it looks.

I'll just have to switch hoods for events...
