Exclamation Corbeau Forza Seats

Hello all, I am awaiting a set of Corbeau Seats. I was wondering if anyone has them and what are you opinions/possible problems. The LS1 forum has people who say they don't fit right and the the brackets are to high. If any one has feedback I would appricate it.

Thanks,
Kevin

I have them but in a 96 Corvette.

My Corbeau rails fit fine, but I not won over by the seat. It is too big for me. This is the normal Forza as well.

On the street, just fine, but on the track I'm swimming in it with the dead pedal for all my stability. I currently only have the factory belt which helps none on keeping me in place. Matter of fact, using factory three point belt may be a safety hazard as the belt touches the sides of the seat without even resting on my abdomin...meaning in a collision I would still fly forward an inch or so into the belt.

Seat is quite reasonably priced, but with downsides for me...I think I should have gone with something tighter (Evo?)

Different car, but an opinion.

I have the recaro SRDs in my car. Excellent seat, holds you in very snug and is still streetable.

www.recaro-seats.com is where i bought them.

Corbeau is usually the cheapest and poorest made seat in the industry. I've sat in a couple and I hated every one.

Go to a speed shop and sit in a couple, that's the best advice.

As far as brackets are concerned, they usually are all off, so you have to modify them a bit.

I filed my base bracket down a bit but it went in.

Well I like the fit of the seats to me....to the car...no. The seats did not clear the roll cage and were to far to the outside so I had to redrill the holes for the seats to the brackets. I think they could have made the brackets a little lighter as well.

The only other complaint I have with them is I think they could have used a better cloth as well as put a little more lumbar support in the seats. But for the price they are a really good seat.
