Question Computer straightening

I am curious about the process of computer straightening. ie. frame straightining for unibodys. Like: do they weld in reinforcements where metal is torn or cracked? I hit a wall and the frame is probably bent, I am wondering how much can be done to straighten it and what the process is. A guy at work said we might be able to streach it out a little with a chain fall but I don't know how we would hold the car while streaching it. Any info would be appreciated.

A good chassis shop could straighten a really bent frame, but it's going to cost $$$$ and you might have to have a salvaged title on the car. It all depends on the damage. What did your insurance company say? That's who you need to talk to.
