Question Camaro/Mustang Challenge at MAM

There is a Camaro/Mustang/Corvette Challenge this weekend at Mid American Motorplex. I will be there carrying the Camaro flag-this is a Mustang dominated track-usually 40+
Here is the deal:

www.midamericamotorplex.com

We will have two classes for everyone, stock & modified. Stock is limited to air filter and tire upgrades and that is all.

We wil run test and tune goups, qualifying rounds, and then 10 lap sprints both on Saturday and Sunday. Should be a great time with each group going after each other with best qualifying times.
MAM will supply the timing transponders for the qualifying sessions and the sprints; however we will have to share them between groups because of the limited amount of transponders (21). At the end of each session, the run groups will be posted, and the fast car will be announced.
In the evening we might offer some 1000 foot rolling start (10mph) drags if we have some interested parties. The run groups will be limited to 21 vehicles and the qualifying will be done with same make only and then will be gridded by time in groups of 7 for each class in the sprints, 7 fast guys each make (Mustang, Corvette, Camaro) will be one sprint, 7 medium guys will be next sprint and so on.

The fee will be reduce to $100 for each entrant per day or a two day package will be $180. Thanks for being patient with us.

My SSGT car (stock LT1 Formula) could have been there had I known ahead of time and worked on it last weekend.

Of course, it would have been hopelessly outmatched by stock LS1's, SS's, WS6's, Hawk's, Vette's, and Cobra's anyway. But it still would have been fun to run...

maybe next time,
