Bilstein vs. Shocktek revalving
I just placed an order for some shocks, springs and a rear bar for my Caddy, from Strano Performance (160K mi will kill any stock parts ).
I've been also planning to get some Bilsteins revalved to mate some 600# linear-rated 2.5" springs for the front of my '95 Z28, and having someone local make them adjustable.
My question is, how does Bilstein's revalving compare to Shocktek's? I thought that Sam Strano used Shocktek in the past, but I was just told today that they use Bilstein. I know from reading here that Shocktek is very reputable for revalving, and want mine to specifically match the 600# springs for a road-race/street setup. Do you guys think Bilstein does the same quality-level work?
Any thoughts from experience? TIA!
