Question bilstein coilovers and general?

anyone running a set of these?

i am looking for some coilovers for my car and i love my bilsteins...however getting the proper info on my year is hard so i thought i'd check the newer years.

what about koni, h&R, tokico, qa1, hal, ground control and the many others out there that i've forgotten.

any one running any of these on their cars? what are your thoughts?

The only issue is without revalving your shocks, your going to be very limited in spring selection. I went with Koni DAs because in part, I wasn't sure what spring I was going to stick with.

so what did you end up with spring rate wise?

do you drive it on the street? how different is it from the stock ideal?

i really like my bilsteins........however, my coilover kit will not fit it so i'm either selling the kit and trying to find a similar alternative or will just use konis since they do work......i didn't much care for the reds very much though.

Reds are sport only, the yellow are 'racier.'

I have a 4th gen car, non-coil overs, and 600# fronts. You have even more spring options in a non coil over than I do, but of course there are reasons to have a coil over.

thanks for your help dr.mudge!

well i have to run a coilover now and i can't find anyone with good working product knowledge on what i should do or who i can talk with.

i wanted to go with a bilstein strut with a built in coilover setup like they show on their site but i haven't been able to get a working part number or speak with anyone on how i can go about it. however, they are quick to tell me they can revalve my stock strut with their equipment?

i know both koni and tokico make a strut that is the same stock diameter as my own but i'm thinking against using a coilover sleeve and would rather get a unit that is built all in one since the sleeve doesn't look to sound. is there anywhere i can go to talk with others that have coilover setups on their cars by any chance?
