You say dont bother with the lowers , but in your list of things to do you put LCA's. am I wrong or does that not stand for Lower Control Arms?

Anyway, the lower arms are what I am most interested in because mine are bent. I bought the car about 3 yrs ago from a girl that works with my wife, well needless to say she didnt take real good care of it. It is a 93 with 170k on it and still had original shocks, control arm bushings were completely gone so the arms are rather mutilated.

But from what I am gathering from this thread is that the Global West offerings is probably the best way to go.

Thanks

by LCA, i believe he is speaking about the rear lower control arms....and when talking about "not bothering with the lowers", i believe he is talking about the lower a-arms in the front...

I's sat away from doing the rears unless you were planning on using rod ends or 1LE's. everything else just creates bind that is'nt good for cornering. IMHO

Yes, I guess I should clarify, that LCA was for rear lower control arms, and yes only go with rod-ended units there if you are going to change them.

If you current front lower control arms are bent, then yes you can go aftermarket if you want. Personally I would just replace them with stock units (which is what I'm doing since I just bent one). If I were going to change to aftermarket on the front, it'd be to the Globalwest upper control arm.
