It's not any of those finishes, it's simply bumper paint. They sell it at Auto-zone. My buddy is friends with some of the guys at Berger and that is what they told him.

But will flat black hold up to carwashes, spots of wax from waxing areas close, and the like without clearcoat.
Just be really carefully when you wax the rear. Put a cloth over it or something. I don't know about you, but I always hand wash mine and it has been fine.

I highly recommend the SEM trim paint. They have a couple of different flat, satin...whatever you want to call them...paint kinds. SEM is great and it went on excellent.

You can email me if you like about it.

If you want it to be like the Berger, get the flat black. IMO, the glossy ones look bad to me because I know they're going for the Berger look, and didn't use the right kind of paint...a non glossy flat kind.
Well, ignorance is bliss I guess...

Maybe some people wanted it to be that way?.....Nah.....

Well, I'm not saying they didn't want it to be that way...but when they're obviously imitating it and trying to replicate it, and when there's a difference like that...to me it looks bad.

I just bought a rear filler panel and i have some custom ideas for it. I'm going to completely fill in the camaro letters and the key hole. put a fastory SS symbol right in the center and get a sticker from brent to make it reflective and match my body color. and under the left brake light there will be a chrome SLP emblem. and under the right will be a chrome LT1 emblem. and its going to be done in flat black.

i painted my front ground effect holes to match my head lights. its just a normal flat black from autozone. and it's the easiest paint to use. I'm doing everything myself.

I'll get some pics up as soon as its done.

I feel that the Matte finish is unique to the Bergers and In any other case the Glossy black finish will look so much better.

I did mine, it's a satin bumper black. It looks awesome. I talked to Matt at gmmg, he told me to use satin bumper black. I ordered a new panel and had a body shop prime and paint it. I got the fill ins from RK sport, that's were gmmg gets theirs. I got the SS and chevy emblems off ebay. I do not think flat black would look good, you need to have some sort of sheen.
