ZL1 Rear Insert Info?

Anyone know if there is a part that will fit on the back of the car where it says camaro that looks like the ZL1? I thought maybe there would be an insert for that rear panel, but I see many have just painted it black. Thanks.

I want that whole thing like on the first pic with the red camaro zl1. I mainly just want the black part that goes across the back under the trunk and above the bumper. I've seen people paint it black...if they have a red, white, etc. car. But, I'd rather just buy the whole part and not have to take it off and paint it.

Thanks...I've got an SS spoiler and going to get the hood in july, then have the whole car painted, so I guess I will just get that part painted black instead of white, I just wonder if that will look ghetto though...oh well I'll try and search for some pics.

I know of two guys who have done just what you are talking about. I think both of them did NOT clear coat the rear deck peice. They had it painted more of a dull color, and it really looks good that way.

You can tell the difference from the new glossy red and the new dull black. I think it looks great. Can't find pics of the other guy, but his is nice. Car is silver, rear deck is graphite grey (matches wheels) and his inserts are the (GM factory) SS silver to match the paint. LOOKS SWEET!

That's exactly the look I'm going for!! I didn't want to get it painted because I hated the "glossy" look, especially on white. I wonder what kind of paint they used. The guy that does the paint on my cars uses PPG paint...I heard it's one of the best, but not sure. Thanks again for that pic, it looks sweet!

Glad I could offer some help.

Not sure of the paint brand. I've heard PPG is good. I've also heard that Sikkens is the best there is.
