If you remove them, can you wash off the original glue and reglue them? I heard that once removed you cant put them back on.

 

you can put them back on with the right adhesive, but it's probably better to just buy new ones.

 

I've taken them off a few times. You have a couple of different options.

1- You can use ShoeGoo, which holds great and won't damage the paint. The only problem is you have to use a thin bead when you run it or it will come out through the lettering.

2- You can get 3M Emblem tape, which you can cut to fit. That holds really well too.

I took mine off and painted them silver. Just used an emblem glue you can buy at walmart in the automotive section to put them back on. They're still holding just fine.
