Do led bulbs burn brighter than regular ones?

I have blackout taillight covers on my TA and the brake lights arent bright enough. If I switched the regular bulbs with white led bulbs would that make a difference?

LEDs will be dimmer than regular bulbs.

I converted my front turn signal bulbs to LEDs and they're no where near as bright as regular bulbs.

what if we switched to a brighter burning bulb of some sort... maybe a hyper white type or something ? ... does one even exist?

With the LEDs you wont have to worry about burn outs.

Yes they exist - search Google, MSN, any other search engine for "Hyperwhite XXXX Bulbs" (XXXX=bulb size, probably 1157, 1156, etc. - look that up at www.sylvania.com).

A search for that though will yield results. Stick with the Nokya's or Raybrig's if you can.

they are brighter only if you look straight to it any other angle they'll be dimmer and from the side you'll barely be able to see them at all. They do take wayy less power and they last way longer.
