Question Z-roc or Cowl??

just like the topic, what should i get for my 94 z28? There both around the same price so what looks best once its all put on and painted?? Do cowls add any power by cooling the engine bay down? Thanks.

I have a 94 z and i got the 4in Glasstek Cowl hood...i love the way they look...i would highly suggest a cowl hood...they look sweet! and from what i know, no they will not cool your car down any...good luck!

I think cowl hoods are gay. Go with the Zroc, I personally think the SS hood is the best on the market though.

How can you call cowl hoods gay??? You look at nearly every race car at the drag strip, what kind of hood do they have? A cowl hood. I just don't see how you can call it gay. Check out my car for pics of the Glasstek 4" cowl on a 2000 model. Is my car gay?? I think not. Later.

Nice car, the thing is screamin at you to drop it. Other than that, nice. I plan on goin with a cowl when funds allow. Probably 2 or 3 inch.

I think he just means that there is no reason for our 4th gens to have a cowl hood(angle of windsheild too shallow to make it work, engine under windsheild no need for hood clearance, etc)

And some would consider it to be "white grain" if you add something to your car and it doesn't belong or is out of place or doesn't make it go faster or.....

Anyway, personally, I like them, but for my car I must have function, I'm going SS
