If you put in all the work to convert it to a "Z28" than you should be able to put on the badges. For some reason, people say it's taboo to do something like that, but I don't mind in the least as long as the work is done to the car to back it up. If no one did "clones" of their favorite cars, you'd see a lot less 454/396 Chevelle SS's, Nova SS's, 409 Impala's, 67-69 Camaro Z28's and SS's at car shows and such. It's not seen as taboo in those years until you try and pass it off as a $30k original, so why should the newer versions be any different? Do what you think will look best for your car!

I say go with a hockey stick design with LT1 printed by the nose cone. Looks something like this...

Leave 'em off! I had overlays on my Trans Ams on the doors, then pulled the overlays, and emblems off! Much, much smoother looking, Also removed the bird on the front and back. IMO, the smoother, the better they look.
