My car was bought as a 1993 V6 3.4 Automatic,
I Just finished my conversion to a worked LT1 as well as many other mods and MBA interior, needless to say- it is not a 6 anymore.
My Question:
Should i put Z28 badges on it.. even it is not a factory Z28?
Perhaps i am thinking about this too much, im just not sure if it is ... Right or Wrong to do.
I do not want people thinking i took off the badges to look like a 6... with duel 3inch pipes in the back
It is a difficult situation
Help..
thanks
Brad

Re: Your Opinion
you could get some LT1 emblems made, this guy does good custom work http://www.bfranker.badz28.com/vinyl/vinyl.htm
You arn't lying, and it isn't technically a z28.

Re: Your Opinion
If you like the way it looks with the badges on - go for it.
If I did all the mods to make my car into an SS, I would most certianlly add the badges.
I just would never try to sell it as a SS.

Re: Your Opinion
Thanks for recommending me guys
Also, as another suggestion, I can make 350 LT1 or 5.7 LT1 or items like that which might look better than a "naked fender"
Like the other guys mentioned, I wouldn't do a Z28 badge but something like LT1 or 5.7L or similar nobody would see anything wrong with that.

agreed, you can find some rasied chrome LT1 emblems on the net and then use brent's overlay if you dont want chrome ones!
