Post Yet another Q about racing stripes

Just looking for some opinions. Hopefully within the near future I will have a new hood, the SS hood. And I was wondering if while i get the hood painted if i should have the racing stripes painted on or if i should find some vinyl stripes and get them put on.
Thanks, your opinions are greatly appriciated!!

Cool

I personally like vinyl stripes because you can change your mind

I originally had the SS stripes on my car like those that came on some of the 97 SS Camaros. I then got tired of those and put on the 35th ann stripes. Now that a deer smashed up my car, I'm going to have it repainted and not put any stripes on it for a while. I like changing things around. You can do that with vinyl very easy... but it gets expensive if you start doing that with paint

I'm to running vinyl stripes like Brent94Z say, you can change your mine when you get tired of them. But my opinon is if your going to do it right, and you know that
your keeping that color then paint it on. Also paint last longer then vinyl cause it will dis-color after a few year. (3-5)

I didn't even think about the mind changing. Yet another aspect to consider. I do know however that I'm going to keep it the same color. My future plands are to have a complete black and silver (or pewter in my case) theme. So with that in mind, you guys still think I should get vinyl??

Yeah,
I think u should do some viper style silver stripes... That would look bad ***. Make it a subtle silver, not too light just like on the viper...

Paint all the way - IF you know for sure what you want. See pics in my sig of my old car for an example of custom stripes painted on...definitely not subtle though...
Good luck,
Shane
