Would you consider this a ricer thing to do?

I'm done with my lt1 swap, and I'm swapping, basicly, everything that I can think of from the v6 to a z28 (engine, instrument cluster, tires, etc)...So, if I put z28 badges on it, would that be bad? I mean, the VIN says its not a z28, but it has the lt1 and I don't like the look of just plain red (I like having the little bit of black to mix it up)...What do you think, is this something a ricer would do?
Who cares about the badges make it a sleeper, hehehe.

Smile

Its ridiculous people actually have qualms about this. Put them on and enjoy!

If it looks/performs like the badge says it can, what is the difference?

Misbadging is always rice.
I agree. Your car is something unique, why make it exactly like every other Z/28 on the road?

Why must people persist on labeling certain modification as RICEY? or the driver as a RICER?! We're all driving f-bodies here for God's sake. Just because you don't like something someone is doing to THEIR Camaro or Firebird, doesn't mean it is ricey..if he were putting *** symbols and fart can mufflers and **** like that on his car..then yeah, maybe that's ricey....
You will all probably call my Z ricey when i get my pics up because of my interior and underbody neons and whatever...but i don't care.. I like it. My heads and intake and cam will be here soon and you guys can call me rice all ya want!

I also have an undercar kit...I don't think neons are ricey unless your car looks like a christmas tree...I just think its something a 'ricer' would do to mis-badge a car....Like they would put NOS stickers on their cars and not actually be running N20...That to me is stupid to mis-badge something and its a common thing for a 'ricer' to do...I didn't think it'd be ricey becuase people don't like it, I thought it'd be ricey cause a lot of ricers to it and when people see it done on f-bodies you naturally think ricer becuase they do it.

z badges

im with superman, keep your camaro badges or not badges at all on there, so when people in eclipses and **** boxes like hondas pull up next to you, they think theyre racing a v6, then you walk them like a dog.

I can see if he still had a v6 and put the z28 badges on there that would be ricey, but he has an LT1 under his hood, so u can't compare that to having NOS stickers and not running N20.

there's a kid in my neighborhood who has a bright orange eclipse, he has a turbo stall but no turbo.
