Would you consider this a ricer thing to do?
I'm done with my lt1 swap, and I'm swapping, basicly, everything that I can think of from the v6 to a z28 (engine, instrument cluster, tires, etc)...So, if I put z28 badges on it, would that be bad? I mean, the VIN says its not a z28, but it has the lt1 and I don't like the look of just plain red (I like having the little bit of black to mix it up)...What do you think, is this something a ricer would do?

man forget these guys. Think of it like this: Why do z28's get the name z28? You know it aint cause of a different body style. It's because of that LT1 beast under the hood. Put the z28 badge on, you earned it.

Wrong!!!!! No matter how white Micheal Jackson becomes and how many surgerys he has, he will still be african american....you are what you are and this car is not a Z.
I would get some LT1 emblems. After all you are more-or-less hotrodding it so why go for a "stock " look.
BTW, there is more to a Z than just the engine.

I have some z28 badging from my real z28 Took it off, like the sleeper look. I personally wouldnt misbadge. However for the time you put into the engine swap, I say go for the LT1 badging. Then only the less informed will say - "Oh it has LT1 badging.. that's a z28"
