OK, they are the BFG g-Force TA/KDW-2's. They are probably the wildest tread pattern available, but they are also they best rated tire out. They have superior dry and wet traction, and superior tread life.

I just don't know what they would look like on an F-Body? What do you guys think? Too much? Looks over function purely doesn't matter?

I don't think that they'd look bad at all... plus, like the othersd said... if they work, they work.

Well - there's three highly valued opinions - I could care less what anyone else says now.

Just didn't want to look to imported if you know what I mean.

What size are you looking at? From the Tire Rack listing, the widest 17" is a 225, widest 18" is a 245 (they have larger width, but the diameters are too high). Largest 19 is a 235 and all the 20's are over 30" diameter.

I think you should get the Goodyear F1 GS-D3s.

Exactly, it doesent matter what they look like as long as they perform well and hook hard. I suppose that you would have to like them as well lol

Good Luck,

245/40/18...
They are on sale - plus they are the best reviewed tire compared to all of them - including the GS-D3's, which I considered.

Hey at least you aren't trying to find 285/35/ZR20's I can't find them anywhere so

I do think they look weird from that angle, but if they work, they work.

Hey Paul -
Apparently this guy is using a Pirelli P-Zero that size as a spare tire? I have no idea how to get ahold of him - but I do know that that is his brothers website. Good Luck.

If you're getting 18" then I'd definately go for 275/35. 245 is too skinny for that big a diameter.

It's a 18x8 wheel. Not my choice - but I got them for next to nothing.

Width and diameter are 2 seperate things...the 245/40s will be fine. I hope they are a good tire because you will need all the traction you can get
