Wiring New lights, Help!??!

This might not be the right place for this question. But I want to get some red lights and put the where the feet are in both the passenger and drivers side. I want to somehow wire the lights so that they come on and off with the rest of the interior lights in the car. How would i go about doing that, or is it worth doing?

There is a sponsor on Ls1 tech or another camaro forum where you may buy a light system way better or change the simple LED lights so you can have the stock operating function and come the color you want, red.

Either go on ebay or go to an advance auto/autozone and get some red neons. You can run their power wire to your radio fuse or any fuse thats activated when you turn your headlights on at night. Put a switch in between if you want, and hook up your ground and you are done. They make some real sharp lighted switches these days...definitely some in red if you went that route.

Back when I was in high school, my blue 3.4 camaro had 2 6" neons under the dash, 2 6" under the driver/passenger seats, and a 12" blue sound activated tube in the back by the sub. They were all sound activated so if I cranked it up, you'd just see this pulsing blue. I went the blacklight route a little later, but red would be good IMO because it wouldn't destroy your nite vision like my blue ones did. I got it all off of ebay for like $20 bucks back in the day.

Cops don't like the lights however...

Yeah red and blue are not good choices....we all know what is associated by red and blue lights.
