!wires mod, and a bit more bling

*Did the !wires mod.... god I can't believe I went so long NOT doing this

*Stainless polished cap on the powersteering

*Same cap as above but on clutch resevoir

*New stainless polished fuse cover

*Aluminum polished piece under volant intake...only there for show when car is still and hood opened. I remove it for driving of course

*Painted the FAST logo on the intake black

Next up will be to polish the 2 brackets that are above the washer fluid resevoir, actually remove that resevoir completely, polish the hood hinges and by the polished/chromed bolt kit that replaces many screws in the engine bay with shiny ones. then who knows what else

I will be "filling in" those 3 black tabs

I did not fully bolt on the Fuse cover as I am going to take it off and put it back on pretty much for shows only. those things scratch just by looking at them

Pretty Killer, hate the chain thing though...makes me think your part of a street car gang. Should also look into painting the bellows and intake hoses.

Looks good, but I'm not liking the chain either.

All you need to hide now is the hood latch cable. Looks good nonetheless!

wow that is a nice engine. the polished aluminum looks great with the silver paint. id get a rid of the yellow dip stick and get a chrome one. also, loose those rusted radiator hose clamps. i am not a big fan of chrome and polished aluminum in the engine bay but you made me change my mind.

The chains are not my favorite thing either...but if I don't put the pins on the chains...I would be 100% certain I'll loose them or leaving them laying around the bay somewhere. Plus it's a pain to have to get them every time you open the hood....so the chains are kinda a necessity to keep those pins handy.

You read my mind on everything....I just bought some nice shiny clamps! And I have been looking for a dip stick but have had trouble finding the right one Basically I will settle for the stick itself but what I really want is the housing and the stick to be chromed or polished.

Thanks everyone for your input

You could use a black coated cable for the pins.

Ooooo I like those fuel rail covers. Very nice work! I agree about the chains too. I'd just go with the factory extension rods, but if you want to work with what you have, yeah, just attach the pins with a black coated rubber string. Similar to the blue rubber string on ear plugs.
