I have a red z28 with black stripes on the hood going to the vents, i was thinking about getting red lettering and putting C A M A R O across the little sunshield on the top of the windshield right below the roof.. ive seen this on some other cars i think it looks pretty cool.. i wuld like to put white lettering but i have black strieps so it woudl look stupid, and black wont show up tehre.. so .. does anyone have any pictures of a red camaro with red lettering on the windshield? or how do u think itd turn out

I put mine too high, but hopefully it gets the idea across (It was more for car shows anyway, where someone can walk up and see it regardless of how high it is)

 

Yeah,go with the red, too many different colors will start to look out of place.

 

Dude, no... Don't waste your money. Unless you've got a *small* car club decal or something similar with a purpose, it will come off looking silly and tacky. Everyone knows it's a Camaro, so you will inadvertently become the butt of jokes, and the object of ridicule.

No offense intended... Just trying to save someone the mistake that many others have had to learn the hard way.

 

Yeah...to the general public, both f-bodies are Camaros....lol. I would only do a window banner for a sponsor or if in a car club

 

THat is a good point, i actaully did think about that if i would put Camaro on the windshield i would get some jokes directed about it.. like no sh*t its a camaro.. lol stuff like that.. i think im ganna hold off on the appearance mods for awhile anyway now.. im ganna order a magnaflow exhaust, i just ordered a SLP intake, and i might switch the center console cuz it just sucks =( thanks for the input though

 

I have red lettering on my Z. you can kind of see it in the pic link in my sig. It's for my Decal comapany, so that is the only reason I put lettering on there. I have it on the back too, red with a white outline. I was gonna make black stripes for my car also. very similar to yours.

 

I personally think it looks tacky...most people or anyone who wants to know its a Camaro...already knows its a Camaro. I made the mistake when I was young. I had an Acura Integra, and I put "ACURA" across the windshield and put the Acura Logo in my back window...I was the center of attention for the wrong reasons
