agreed. the first couple of months i owned my Z i was constantly worried about backin out into someone elses car

the only time is easier to back out at night is when the t-tops r off

 

the usual: they claim the cops can't see in at night if you have a weapon

good thing is lots of cops here drive black camaros, so they don't usually bother other black camaros (like mine w/ 20%), they concentrate on the ricers, hehe

once i was even stopped for doing a 2 sec burnout in Waikiki, which is insane. he let me off with a warning

 

well......here in alberta it's anything on the rear window and side rear windows, and nothing allowed on the front and side front windows. ........which means on my camaro I can only legally have tint on my back window since there are only front side windows.

 

Do you have any pics of your 20%? How much can you see into the car with it? I want 20% on my black camaro and want the windows to look like body panels almost.

 

well I am in maryland I have 2 camaros one is 20 on the doors and a 5 piece job in the back that is 5% mirror tint to match the racing strips on my car and the other 3 pieces are 35 looks great.

on my 99 I have 20% on the doors and 35% in the back that way if a cop is behind me he can see me pretty good and will not pull me over and if he does for like speeding and stuff like that I just make sure to roll them down it sounds weird having 2 different
% of tint on the car but remember you can't and any one looking at your car can't see all 3 windows at once

also I have 5% on the sundam

My car is black and my windows are 20% all around. I have never had a cop say anything about my windows and I've probably been pulled over or talked to a cop 5 times over the course of having my car. The last time was when my buddy and I were testing out some speakers and we pulled over to make sure the amp was not effin up. A cop car pulls up and wants to run our licenses. They said they had problems with people breaking in the stores we were near and thought we looked suspicious. Anyway, they didn't say crap about my windows.

 

 

Do they make tint that fades from lighter to darker? Since its illegal in Illinois to do our doors, I was thinking that maybe if they did tint that faded from the back of the door to the front. Like a 20% on the rear of the window to like 50-75% on the front. Is this done, or is it just crazy talk?!

 

I have 20% on my windows and IMO, it's not dark enough. I don't like the fact that you can still see pretty well inside the windows, especially on a sunny day. When I get my windows done again, I'll probably go for 15% or even 10%. I've never been hassled about it yet, though.
