Ive heard you cant tint over dot matrix what did everyone here do. I want to get my side and back window tinted 20% does anyone know a good place near northern nj that can edge them and do something about the dot matrix.

 

I dont know where in NJ you can get it done but I know for sure you can go right over it no problems... my rear window is tinted 5% I've had it done for 3 yrs now with no one problem..

 

5% all around on mines.

 

Definately, and if some shop told you they can't, don't pay them a dime to do anything. Go find a compotent shop, someone that knows what they are doing, and have them do it. And I'd go with something darker than 20%, at least 5%, since I don't think NJ has a limit on the back window. Good luck.
