How much did you guys pay for your window tint? I got a quote from a pretty good shop around here of $225, is this a good price?

 

I paid $170 around me. That included the back and two sides. Get 5% in the back and 35% on the sides

 

after getting a different quote each time i went to two places i ended up paying 180...highest i was tole was 200 and lowest was 150...aparently a guy that doesnt know anything told me 150 then one of the main guys said he wouldnt do it for that after i was already told 150 o well

 

paid $60 for 5% on the back...probably comparable for sides as well...

 

out of curiosity, how's your rear visibility (especially at night) with 5% at the rear?

 

it's hard to see. Sometimes I just turn the window down and use my side mirrors to back up. It's worth it. The tint looks awesome on these cars

 

I can see just fine at night. The only problem you'd have is if you're backing out of a driveway and there are parallel parked cars in the road. Even then just use your side mirrors and you're cool.

5% is definitely worth it for the back and it's really cut down on the interior heat down here in Texas.

 

I paid $190. That was including them stripping the old tint off.
It will have something to do with the cost of living in your locale.

 

Yeah your looking at anywhere between 170 - 220.00 to tint your windows. Get 5% in the rear and 35% sides. Cops are cool with that. I never got a ticket

 

Im about to do 15% on the sides myself.

 

So the lower the number, the darker the tint right?

 

yes the percentage has to do with light admittance.

 

i paid $80 for 5% rear and 20% sides including the taking off of the old tent........

 

5% ALL the way around. $170 bucks. Looks bad ***. Wouldn't have it any other way. I was woried about the law for a little while, but so many people have it now that the cops don't even bother.

15% all around dark during the day .......black at night,but visability is still real good at night
