Window tint experts, inside!
I got my windows tinted recently. The guy told me to wait at least two days before I used the windows, ok fine. I was in the middle of a move anyway, and the car sat on a trailer for 4.5 days before I finally took it off the trailer and rolled the window down for the first time.
Went to roll it back up and "skkkkkkriiiiitch!!" now I have a small section of tint that separated from the glass, RIGHT dead-center on the driver's side window, at the VERY top edge, about 4" long and only about 1/8" deep at the center.
I did get a lifetime warranty for the tint, BUT, I just moved 1,700+ miles away from the place!
This doesn't look TOO bad, but I'm thinking that if I have it looked at NOW, maybe there's some type of adhesive that could be applied to glue it back to the glass? I have only rolled it down that one time, and don't plan on moving the window again until it's looked at.
Can this be repaired?

I don't think it can be repaired. If it can, it will probably cost just as much as having that window retinted. Mine did the same thing, but not quite so bad. Onbe of the buffers that centers the window when it comes up ripped the tint.
Well, window tint does come with some adhesive on it, then they use some soap/water stuff when they put it on. You could try that. Just miux up some soapy water, spray it in there, and squeegy it out. Maybe it will stick.
