Will Tires Fit?

Another Tire Question
I'm getting the Z06 Aftermarket rims for my Z
will 285/35/18 fit on all 4 rims?
The front rims are 9.5 and rear are 10.5
Thank for any input..

Hey,

They should fit just fine. I was going to get 285's all around on my 99 Camaro, but ended up going with 245/40/18. I was told by numerous people the 285's would fit without a problem.

Thanks,
Kevin

The front rims are 9.5 and rear are 10.5
My car is lowered, and the 275/35/18 Yokohamas on the 10.5" wheels just touch at the front, so I would not use a bigger/taller tire.

If you use different width rims with the same size tire front and back, the sidewalls will funny when you compare them visually. You could go with a bigger tire on the back, but I did not go that route because the bigger tire would then be larger in diameter than the front (confusing the ASR and ABS) and as a daily driver, I want to be able to rotate the tires front-to-back. It was also important to me that the tires not be too wide to fit up inside the fender lip with the suspension bottomed out.

If you plan to use the same tires all around, use the same rim width as well.

I went with a painted finish because polished is way too much work for a year-round daily driver.
