Will LS1 front end bolt to an LT1 car?

Is this a straight swap? Is the door and fender profile compatible? I would assume both front-ends use basically the same mounting points. I'm sure people have done this.

Yes it can be done but the whole front clip needs to be changed. For example, you can't just chance the nose or fenders. I believe you need to modify the air intake as well since they are set up different.

I'd imagine fenders, front end, headlights, headlight covers, intake, hood.

Yeah, I figured I would need both fenders, hood, bumper cover, headlight assemblies, maybe different windshield-washer reservior, and other misc. small parts. I'm worried that the rear of the front fenders wont match the front edge of the door. I was thinking I could find a wrecked V6 with the redesigned headlights and such for relatively cheap. I'm pretty sure there is a kid at school that has done this. Another 2 weeks until I go back.

Run a search, you will find everything you need to know, problems that popped up, and even all the parts needed including their part numbers.

If you have a Z28 the LT1 style looks better, if its a firebird the LS1 style works better. But for the time/price of the change over its kinda not worth it. May as well go buy h/c instead.
