Your advice/ideas on best looking exhaust tips

getting my hooker catback in 1 or 2 days and i dont like the way the hooker tips look so im looking for other ideas...right now i am seriously considering these LM tips...i want them to be long enough so that u cant see them welded to a smaller diameter pipe from the side.. These LM tips are 11" in length and may b too short but i love how they look.(plus there 60 bucks a pop) The dual outlets on the hooker are 2.5"

I am a fan of Dual tips. Waaaay to many trucks have those types of tips on them. But, Dual/Dual tips look good on our cars and sucky on a truck. So you don't see hardly any with quad tips running around.

The best Dual tip IMO are the Corsa's. They are freakin expensive, but look great. I bought my tips from here:
http://fasttoys.net/9398fbodyframes.html

Scroll all the way to the bottom, they also have polished stock type tips which I also think look good. But you can get the Dual/Duals, stainless steel with chrome ends for like $86 shipped. Or something like that. If you don't like the black back you can allways paint that portion. But just an Idea. Good luck with your choice.

I agree Corsa tips do look the absolute best! Borla tips are ok but Corsa's are #1 in my book

I like the Corsa tips also, like THIS ... I don't like the look of the straight cut on the Hooker tips.. I ended up buying some dual slash cut tips and had them welded on... I had the guy weld them so they only stuck out a couple inches from the bumper... I hate seeing tips coming way past the bumper... If I did it over again, I'd buy some with a rolled edge so you could see them from the rear.. Mine kinda disappear if you're looking at them straight on.

I at one point liked the hooker tips so much that (since on a budget then) ordered just the tips. They are completely chrome and look good from the sides. BUT they are not rolled nor slash cut. I replaced them with the ones I have now. But they are not bad at all, just missing those 2 elements which is a big deal for me and alot of other people.

i personally dont like the rolled tips. it all comes down to personal taste. ive had slash-cut tips for years and they're nice, but theyre chrome dipped and theyre peeling. you wont see that with the hooker tips.
