Will a front marker off a firebird fit my T/A?

This probably isn't what you want to hear but I'm 99.9% sure they will and the Firebird/Trans Am use the same side markers. I know the Camaro is different but I've always thought the Firebird/Trans Am was the same. But, I have no hard proof of this so maybe somebody else can confirm?
