You see them on ebay all the time for a firebird, but it never says trans am, Are they not the same? I have 1995 trans am, and was thinking about ordering a set, but want to make sure they will fit?

I know the difference between a firebird and a trans am, and I thought the marker lights were the same, but when I went to order some from I believe it was procarparts.com they told me they would not fit the trans am model, that's why I'm asking!!!They told me they are working on set for the trans am now, because of the high demand of calls they recieved from customers looking for them, but right now all they have is the firebird ones, I said are you sure there different, and he said yes, that's what led to this post. I've seen trans am with them!!!

Since were on the subject -My parts manual lists all (4th gen) years of Firebirds as having the same rear markers. I haven't been bold enough to buy a set of 98-02 Firebird rear markers to be sure of fitment, but if the parts manual lists the same part number as a replacement for all 4th gen -then why would I pay $55 for a set of 93-97, when I could spend $30 on a set of 98-02?

Can anyone confirm or deny?
