Question Will 99 firebird V6 Rims fit on a 94 Formula?

I have a 99 Firebird V6, with 4 wheel-disc brakes. I am selling my old rims on ebay. A guy is bidding on them who has a 1994 Formula. He also has 4 wheel disc. Will they fit? He said he bought 2002 takeoff rims and they did NOT fit his car. Said the bore was off a little. I have a another story for my rims that i am selling. I sold them to a girl with a 1995 Camaro V6, these rims fit on the front fine, but she had rear drums and they did not fit on the rear. It was off like 1/8 of a inch off. A shop in town wanted like 75 dollars a wheel to bore them out a hair. I laughed at them and went on. So my question is will they fit the formula in 1994 and what the HE** is the difference in bolt pattern and bore pattern from year to year for firebirds and camaros. I thought all firebird rims from 1993-up were the same? Thanks for all the help.

I have a 95 bird with drum breaks in the rear and i got this set of ws6 rims off a 97 trans am. the front fit but NOT the rear. the inner lids are little smaller to fit... a machine shop was gonna charge me $50+ to get them fit... i said F** that, got a dremel and sanded the S*** out of them (Did all 4) for about 3 or 4 hours... they finally fit and that was not too hard at all...

hope this helps. but if it is a formula with discs they should be just fine.

good luck

Wow that seems like a really long time to bore out the rims. Maybe you are including the time to jack up the car and remove and reinstall the rims.

It should only take you 5-10 minutes of grinding per rim. You can use a dremel or a hand drill with a sanding bit to remove just a little bit of material from the center "big-hole".

Do not waste your money on a machine shop. You'd probably wanna tell your buyers about the possible grinding and what's involved.
