will the 98 style console of a TA fit inside the 95 style TA?

Yea, its actually a 97+ console.

 

yep it fits. I put a whole 93Ta interior in my car except i used a 97+ console.

 

so there isn't a gap like when replacing the camaro's with the newer ones?

 

Nope.

 

What modifications are needed to make it fit? Do you need the newer bracket at the front?

 

It bolts right in, there is no gap. Trans Am dashes are the same from 93-02 so the console works. I can't answer for if the stock 93-96 TA console bracket fits the 97+TA's though, i'm only familar with Camaro stuff.

 

I put one in my 95 and went in fine.
