"wide" SS hood...who makes it?

Howdy,

I was looking through some pictures at school last wed. during study hall and ran across a pimp *** "SS" style hood...but it was alot wider than most ss hoods ive seen. It looked really good from my standpoint...could someone help me out and maybe see who makes this hood?

I'd appreciate it,
Dave

RKsport use to make one but i heard they quit making it. Last i knew they still had pics on their website for it. I believe DG motorsports makes one also.

This is the best one I've ever seen...so I bought one!

If the hood scoop is really wide, it's a "big block" hood and not a true SS hood. Good Luck!!

yea DGMotorsports makes the ZL1-style hood for both LT1's and LS1's. One is made of fiberglass and the other is amde of carbon fiber. Both very nice pieces!

Yeah the ZL-1 big block hood was the one i was looking for...anybody know if somebody sells these for like $450-$500? I need to buy tires and want a hood or some performance parts...guess if it can't get cheaper ill just save for one and hope to have it by new years then save for paint, lol.

Thanks again,
Dave
