Who Makes Real Leather Seats with Perforations

Is there anyone who makes an exact copy of the 93-2002 seats even with perforations and can do the 30th logo stitching?

I there used to be a company that did, I tried to search here for it but could not find a reference. I think the name was wolf or something. Maybe it is Katz and they just don't do it anymore.

Katzkins is a popular choice from what I've seen. I recently saw a couple sets of 30th anniversary seat covers on eBay. Supposedly brand new, but I'm not sure.

Hopefully you're putting them in a real 30th car though...

It's Real...

with real fake white leather seats that love to turn dirty black at the seams. I wonder if those ebay replacements do the same thing.

I checked out Katz and they didn't seem to do perforated seats. Maybe that's just a bad website, or I'm not going into it right. I'll give them a call.

Zaknafein, do those covers go gray on the seams like the originals or do they hold their color even over time?

Thumbs up

My buddy has had those same (recovered) seats for almost 2 years now and while they have some very slight wear on the door-side lumbar... no dark coloration to speak of. IMO, it's a damned good quality leather. Then again... it's only been 2 years.

Just my 2 cents.

Good luck.

I'm wondering if I shouldn't go with, hate to say it, all vinyl. The stock seats have leather as the seating surface and it's got all the wear. The vinyl is easy to clean and still looks great. Can it handle abuse or is worse?

I have vinyl seats from HawksThirdGen.

They haven't had the chance to take that much abuse yet, but I've talked to others with them and they've held up good.

Vinyl holds up to wear better than leather and stays looking newer for longer. My seats were reupholstered in vinyl because leather is several times more expensive and vinyl doesn't crackle the way leather does.

I wish I could find some orange/white houndstooth material.

Checked on leatherseat.com all vinyl option and it's around $650 mainly because they don't perforate vinyl ($50 leather only option). If they won't perforate the vinyl then I guess I'll have to go with the leather after all.
