White Faced gauges???
White Faced gauges???
Looking into some white faced gauages for my 1994 Z28 and i wondering how many of you have them and what kind you like and would suggest and where to get them and how much? and if you could send me some pics that would be great thanks. I have noticed in cobras it is just alot easier to read during day and night driving plus the look good too. How hard to install?
I am pretty sure almost every person will tell you ebay is the place to get one. Most people also have white by day and indiglo by night. I paid about $60 dollars for mine about 6 months ago and now there only $30. Great deal. There is also regular indiglo and reverse indiglo. Reverse is much better than regular. Reverse is a lot better on the eyes and the color is not so dull looking. Here is a link of where to get the reverse. These are the exact same ones I got and from the same buyer. A great person to deal with and fast delivery.

I had regular indiglo gauges about a year ago but changed to reverse because the regular one gave me a headache looking at them. Not as easy to read as the reverse either.

I paid 150 for my NR White faced guages 5 years ago
I love mine... always have, always will... They were the first mod I done to my car actually, now that I think about it... Then gears and exhaust and CAI, and on and on... hehe

I have the white face indiglo gauge face from www.procarparts.com
I must say for $60 they are well worth it. They look very nice, not cheap looking and they have indiglo which is sweet. Very nice product and very easy to install. I had some problems with the needles hanging on the face but found that I had installed the face incorrectly. I did not pull the three little pegs that stop the needles out and then put the face on and pegs back in the holes. I did this and they work perfectly now. Cory

Macewen is the by far the best way to go - They don't require needle removal, where as all the others do. At night, the reverse lighting is nice because everything appears totally stock and you can't even tell they are installed. You can also get some nice matching acessories for headlight controls, shifter (auto) and HVAC controls.
