white faced gauges
Anyone have any experience with the MacEwen Motorsports white faced gauge overlays and T/A bezel? What's the install like? Did you do it yourself or have someone do it? What was the cost to have it done? How do you like it? I saw a post about the custom ind-glo kits and they seem to be a very good deal. but I'm not sure that I want to go that way. The free custom logo is tantilizing though.

I have no experience with the MacEwen gauge overlays, however, if you go to www.projecttransam.com, look under install instructions, and appearance modifications, I have a install guide for the overlays.
They were written for a Camaro, but should be very similar for the Firebird/Trans Am.
Good luck, and if you need any help, drop me an email.

I just went to www.projecttransam.com, and it looks like the link to my instructionsworks, but the site it is hosted on in temporarly unavailable.
Brent also has a copy of them on his page, so you might try there.
Off the top of my head, I have no idea of Brent's website, but you might try a search and find it that way.

Try this link: http://www.bfranker.badz28.com/
Look under installation instructions, and appearance section.
Good luck, and like I say, if you have any questions, email me.

i have the silver guages in my TA. The link is in my sig. I have install instructions and pics. I think they are great, and can't be beat for the price. I'm not a fan of the indiglo guages, expecially in TA's with the red lights.

It really is simple. I did it the other weekand it took 2 hours doing it half-assed. Take out a bunch of bolts basically and then put the overlay on. The hardest part is sliding it over the needles. Start out with the big ones and then the small ones. That took about 5-10 minutes messing with. Then reinstall all bolts. CAKE.
